PERMANENT ANCHORS
PERMANENT ANCHORS

According to EN 1537:2013 Standards, an anchor is considered permanent when works for over two years.
Our standard permanent anchor is the RCS type, which is single-sheathed (1.5 mm thick PE pipe), protected by Anti-Rust wax, and is made up of (05”, 06”, 06” S, etc.) harmonic steel wire strand.
The free length is provided with a smooth sheathing while the bond one is protected by a corrugated sheathing.
A buffer seal is between the free and the bond length, on each strand.
The PE end-cap features a heat-shrink tube.
Another type with a heat-shrink cap for extra leak-tightness is also available.

A permanent anchor is intended to work for an unlimited period, and for this reason, we must implement effective protection against the corrosion of its bearing elements .
The part most subject to corrosion is that between the free length and the foundation, where high traction forces are concentrated on the reinforcement and may cause cracking in the injection mortar. In this regard, high-density polyethylene corrugated sheathings with specific technical and mechanical features are used in the foundation section.
The same attention must also be paid to the anchor head and using suitable protective covers and fittings with sheathings especially designed to contain anti-rust materials aimed at protecting the anchor.

RCP1-V
Permanent anchor with corrugated sheating over the entire lenght + 27X34 mm post grouting tube for IRS injection.
WHY CHOOSE THIS ANCHOR?
This anchor features a single corrugated sheathing over the entire length and gives an advantage in the rapidity of injection as there is no separation between the free and bond length. Anchors with a 27X34 mm post grouting tube are designated by the letter V. A post grouting tube is suitable in sandy and clayey fine-grained soil, where it is necessary to increase the friction and resistance of the anchoring bulb. This type of tube ensures repeated selective high-pressure injections through the use of a special packer that allows the selection of the injection area.

Permanent anchor with corrugated sheating over the entire lenght + post grouting tube to be chosen from 21x15, 16x12, 16x10, 13x9 mm types for repeated injections.
WHY CHOOSE THIS ANCHOR?
This anchor features a single corrugated sheathing over the entire length and gives an advantage in the rapidity of injection as there is no separation between the free and bond length. Anchors with a 15/21 mm, 16/10 mm, 13/9 mm post grouting tube are designated by the letter V.
A post grouting tube is suitable in sandy and clayey fine-grained soil, where it is necessary to increase the friction and resistance of the anchoring bulb. This type of tube ensures non-selective high-pressure injections. It gives the advantage of having a smaller overall diameter.

Permanent anchor with corrugated sheating over the entire lenght + geotextile shutter bag
WHY CHOOSE THIS ANCHOR?
This anchor features a single corrugated sheathing over the entire length and gives an advantage in the rapidity of injection as there is no separation between the free and bond length. Anchors equipped with a geotextile shutter bag, and with a weight of 300g/m² are designated with the letter S. The shutter bag is used to retain the dispersal of cement and allows the sub-horizontally injections of the anchor. Under particular conditions, this accessory can be used to create over-pressure during the injection and to block the drilling hole in the bulkhead/diaphragm.

DIELECTRIC PERMANENT ANCHOR
WHY CHOOSE THIS ANCHOR?
The latest standards on corrosion related to the phenomenon of stray currents have led to the study of increasingly strict anchor construction procedures recently.
CA.TI. has developed a system that provides adequate anti-corrosive protection and makes it possible to measure the electrical resistance between the reinforcement and the anchored structure. Anchors are individually sealed and saturated and vacuum packed with inert gas to ensure perfect tightness, even from the humidity that may form in the period between delivery and installation.
The anchors are therefore individually checked by measuring the electric resistance through METRISO 500VW Power Meter (or equivalent device) according to the European Standards.
