PROVISIONAL ANCHORS
PROVISIONAL ANCHORS

According to EN 1537:2013 Standards, an anchor is considered as provisional when its function is limited to a period of maximum two years.
RCS is our standard provisional anchor, made up of (05”, 06”, 06” S, etc.) harmonic steel wire strand, single-sheathed (1.5 mm thick PE pipe), and protected by Anti-Rust wax over the entire length.
The tips are in PE and the spacers are placed at a distance of 1.50 and work also as centering devices. It features ø 20 mm injection pipe, ø 16 mm vent pipe, and a buffer seal between free and bond length on each strand.

Provisional anchors are designed to function only for a limited period, and additional anti-rust protections are therefore not necessary: anticorrosive material and PE sheaths protect the steel in the free length of the anchor.
The spacers of provisional anchors always work as centering devices, thus ensuring adequate coverage of the cementation.
All types of anchors are supplied with related documents to certify model, traceability, and quality.

Provisional anchor + 27x34 mm post grouting tube for IRS injection
WHY CHOOSE THIS ANCHOR?
Anchors with a 27X34 mm post grouting tube are designated by the letter V.
A post grouting tube is suitable in sandy and clayey fine-grained soil, where it is necessary to increase the friction and resistance of the anchoring bulb.
This type of tube ensures repeated high-pressure injections through the use of a special packer that allows the selection of the injection area.

Provisional anchor + post grouting tube to be chosen from 21x15, 16x12, 16x10, 13x9 types, equipped with U curve and return pipe for the washing.
WHY CHOOSE THIS ANCHOR?
Anchors with a 15/21 mm, 16/10 mm, 13/9 mm post grouting tube and a return curve are designated by the letters V and U. A post grouting tube is suitable in sandy and clayey fine-grained soil, where it is necessary to increase the friction and resistance of the anchoring bulb.
This type of tube ensures repeated high-pressure injections through the use of a special packer that allows the selection of the injection area. Through proper tube washing, it is possible to carry out several injections.

Provisional anchor + geotextile shutter bag
WHY CHOOSE THIS ANCHOR?
Anchors equipped with a geotextile shutter bag, and with a weight of 300g/m² are designated with the letter S.
The shutter bag can help to retain the dispersal of cement and allows the sub-horizontally injections of the anchor.
Under particular conditions, this accessory can be used to create over-pressure during the injection and to block the drilling hole in the bulkhead/diaphragm.

Partially removable anchor + smooth sheathing on the free length for easy extraction
WHY CHOOSE THIS ANCHOR?
Anchors with double protection on the free length and featured by a smooth sheathing are designated with the letter G. This anchor is advisable in the case of corrosive soil conditions or high water pressure in the soil. The abbreviation Rem identifies all partially removable anchors whose free length can be removed by mechanical breakage of the anchor. This type of anchor is suitable for temporary works in which the removal of part of the anchor is necessary for different reasons: the progress of adjacent works, interference with different soil properties, or restrictive environmental characteristics.
